THE NEW SCHOOL PARSONS STRATEGIC DESIGN AND MANAGEMENT (MS)

The Master of Science in Strategic Design and Management program brings together a diverse group aspiring to initiate and lead change in emerging fields: business professionals wishing to address business challenges through design, design practitioners seeking to acquire expertise in business and leadership, and entrepreneurs looking to develop transformative business propositions for an evolving global economy. Led by a world-class faculty, the program is both academically rigorous and practice-oriented, providing hands-on learning experiences. Students can complete the MS entirely on campus or online, or in a blended learning format.

Parsons, one of the world’s leading design institutes, has created an alternative management program for emerging leaders seeking to be at the forefront of innovation in their organizations. This program promises to provide an accessible, rigorous pathway for working professionals to lead change and apply real-world, 21st-century best business practices that have immediate and future impact on today's global economy.

In a complex global economy characterized by rapidly evolving standards for the production and management of information, services, and experiences, leaders must exhibit flexibility and a capacity for innovation. Academically rigorous and industry focused, the Global Executive Master’s is specially designed for working professionals, preparing them to confidently create, manage, and lead design process–driven organizations.

Over the course of about 18 months, you will join a select group of approximately 25 peers in a series of three-day seminars held at Parsons Paris, combined with online learning, hands-on studios, and global experiences in New York and Shanghai. Through this program, requiring only about 18 days away from the office, you will gain in-depth practical knowledge of
