I have a few questions I would like to ask, I am in the final year of university studying Graphic design at Leeds University.
My professional goals are very entrepreneurial base, I am currently focusing on my final university submissions, whilst also developing my own fashion label, as well as producing my own app. My skillset creatively is quite diverse, I am trying to find the right course in which I can understand business to a higher level whilst also remaining creative, do any of your courses offer this? As I would like to understand business, so I could channel my creative outlets to a higher degree and efficiency. I studied Business Studies, English Language & Literature, and Graphic Design at Further education, so I have some experience with Business studies, and I did enjoy the subject, being able to merge design and business would be very beneficial for my development.
My other questions are as follows;
What is the importance of qualification of the degree to applying to Domus? If you do not get a first will the application be denied?
Which course do you think is best suited to me? I was thinking either Business Design or Innovation design management but would like more information on what these courses entail and what I would be studying.
As I said I am still in my final year, finishing in July I would prefer to submit a portfolio after my studies in the U.K next year as my portfolio would be a lot stronger in quality. When does term time start at Domus?
Kind Regards,
Roshan
After speaking to people at Domus, it is clear that I have all the necessary requirements to apply for September. Domus have also informed me that they would not be able to confirm until you aquire their degree. I have told them of my intentions, and if September intake is not possible I shall be moved to January application. This is better suited to myself as I can then apply for a scholarship and start in March 2019. This could give me the chance to reduce fees by 40%
I shall still apply for this year. I am working towards my website at the moment which will act as a porfolio for my application.
